Meet Julie-
Parent Coach
Calm as a Cucumber mother of 3
Julie is our Child and Parent Coach!

With over 20 years experience as a School Counselor and Parent Educator in both public and private settings, Julie loves supporting kids and families in building skills that enable them to thrive.
As a Child Coach, Julie teaches emotional regulation and social skills through children’s most natural way to learn–play! Beginning with building trust and a sense of emotional safety, Julie strategically chooses games, activities, and conversations that guide children through learning to wait, take turns, advocate for their needs, and manage anger and frustration. Using experiential learning principles, we play, reflect on what happened, then play again to practice new, more effective strategies. This guided play shows children how strong and skilled they are!

As a Parent Coach, she partners with caregivers to cultivate desired changes in the family system. The coaching process supports caregivers’ goals, helping identify skills and systems to develop that support a happy home! You’ll identify, in detail, your desired results and spend time cultivating effective strategies that help you reach your goals.
As a result of this collaborative relationship, caregivers:
-
Grow their ability to address parenting challenges with confidence.
-
Align their time and energy with their values and priorities.
-
Joyfully engage with their children!
