MEET JAMIE -OT
Jamie is our founder and sensory supergirl! She has experience in all areas of therapy, from birth to retirement- Jamie has worked with every stage of life! - offering a functional perspective that supports your child without stifling their development. She has extensive experience in sensory processing, and has mentored with Lucy Miller at the STAR Institute in Denver. With 15 years of experience working in schools and clinic therapy- Jamie can offer support to parents navigating the Evaluation/IEP process as well as guiding treatments to help children be successful across all environments.
MEET MOLLY- OT
Molly graduated from the University of Southern California with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. Molly's passion is working with sensory processing, and facilitating groups for preschoolers, social skill development, and handwriting. She also has background in research- studying environmental adaptations to support children’s sensory needs. Molly is passionate about providing treatments that support children’s development and improve quality of life for the whole family! Outside of work Molly enjoys being active- hiking, traveling and sports.
As the Juanita School Girls Basketball record holder for career rebounds and blocked shots - she uses her quick skills to keep kids engaged and active in her sessions!
MEET MINDY- OT
Kathryn Cunningham-no longer with Leaps and Bounds
Mindy has OT experience in outpatient pediatrics and Geriatric rehabilitation- seeing progress in all parts of a person's life. She has worked with a wide variety of needs and ages including Autism, Foundational development and parent education.
She is a Seattle-area native and in her spare time enjoys making art - engraving, woodburning, painting, and is a published photographer!
Olivia is our OT in training extraordinaire! When she isn't studying Human Development and Frames of Reference at the University of Washington's OT program, she's helping keep our small but mighty office running! You may find her answering calls, managing the schedule, or in our social skills and games groups playing sharks and minnows or hide and seek!
