MEET OUR TEAM!
Jamie is our founder and sensory supergirl! She has experience in all areas of therapy, from birth to retirement- Jamie has worked with every stage of life! - offering a functional perspective that supports your child without stifling their development. She has extensive experience in sensory processing, and has mentored with Lucy Miller at the STAR Institute in Denver. With 10 years of experience working in schools and clinic therapy- Jamie can offer support to parents navigating the Evaluation/IEP process as well as guiding treatments to help children be successful across all environments.
Liz joined Leaps and Bounds with the energy level of the goats she loves! Liz is an Occupational Therapy Assistant, who graduated top of her class and with degrees in both Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors of Science in Family and Community Services. She has supported children for years, including working as an Early Learning Center Program Director, as well as years of being a nanny to families with children of all ages. Liz is our in-house runner and you can find her often helping our friends find their "fast feet!" When she's not at the clinic - she enjoys taking care of her small zoo of animals including her special needs dogs, as well as her guinea pig, cats, chinchillas, and a hedgehog!
Katie is our Physical Therapist who graduated from University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Katie has experience in school-based therapy, hippotherapy and has taught yoga to children of all abilities. She is passionate about pediatrics and getting everyone she encounters to reach their full movement potential. When Katie is away from the clinic, she is usually on the move-whether its walking her dog, Zoe, working out, hiking or exploring the local farmers market!
